Pakistan Lost Media War

In this era of media any personality/community/country can be made hero or zero by presenting good or bad picture. Pakistan could not manage media to become hero; however media could manage to prove Pakistan zero. Wherever a terrorist act happens, first to mention is Pakistan; and in almost all acts of terrorism Pakistan cleared through investigation. The way Pakistan is blamed initially made the perception globally and later revelation never presented with such a force and interest to clear Pakistan. For example in 9/11 event, bally bombing, Spain railways station attack, Russian rail explosions, London tube, Samjhota express and many more events initially imposed on Pakistan but later on investigation revealed nothing against Pakistan, but other global operators. Never ever media cleared Pakistan with such force as was initially utilized in blaming Pakistan. Hence it is proven that Pakistan failed in media management and blame goes to real rulers of Pakistan i.e. civil servants especially foreign office.
Now there is a trend in global media to nominate some Pakistanis for global awards. It is interesting that usually such awards increase honor of a country, but in case of Pakistan, it is reversed. Only those creations or persons are nominated for global awards which decreases reputation of Pakistani society in cluding Mukhtaran mai, Malala Yousafzai, Face film and now Zinda Bhaag film.
With out any doubt these events occurred in Pakistan, but these events occur everywhere. Underage gang rape came on surface in United Kingdom, but no one offered a global prize to those effected girls. Gang rape occurred in Delhi, but nothing offered to effected girl and according to reports Delhi is the worse place for women, but no compensation or media coverage is given to Delhi women. Likewise many terror acts happen in USA by their own citizens but nobody has ever pointed finger that USA is a broken society. So much so school children were killed by a terrorist in one of the cities of USA but it taken as an act of an individual. There are many films produced by India based on true stories happened in Indian society e.g. Bandit Queen, showing worse circumstances than events occurred in Pakistan but no one nominated for Asker Award.
Nomination of Malala for Nobel Prize was nothing except to defame Pakistan and paint its picture as a backward and inhuman society where girls do not have right to live and get education. There are so many pockets of India where life is miserable but no voice in media. In India number of people living below poverty line is more than total population of Pakistan; number of people living in slavery is five times more than Pakistan, but nothing comes in media, because Indian government succeeded in managing media, but Pakistan a vibrant, modern liberal, charity loving, educated society is being presented globally as terrorist, illiterate, backward and inhuman community.
One of the reasons is negative image being portrayed by local media. See any decision of any government, criticism is must but appreciation is zero. E.g. current government managed very well power shortage in Pakistan but appreciation in media is zero, while just less than 5% increase in petroleum prices and media as well as opposition took the sky at heads and started abusing prime minister. Also world over people are killed by forces and many times innocent…e.g. after tube bombing in London, metropolis killed a citizen on the road without any evidence of crime, but media never showed the killing, however when an innocent was killed in Karachi media showed clips repeatedly on television screen to terrorize the whole nation for weeks. If our own media has decided to build Pakistani picture horrible then what is the point to complain others?
